Introduction & What to Expect

If you found this page then you probably guessed that this is a book blog. The first book I can remember reading is Twilight when I was in the 5th grade. However, I didn't start reading heavily until I was in the 6th grade when I had to do book reports for my English class. Because of those reports, I fell in love with reading. During middle school I read many of the series that was popular then like Percy Jackson, The Hunger Games, half of The Beautiful Creatures series, I finished The Twilight series, and many more. In high school, I read and discovered more books and different genres. During high school, reading was as much of my life as going to school. I was probably spending more time reading books then studying.

Now as a college student I still read YA genres ranging from contemporary to sci-fi to fantasy to everything in between. Over the years, I have been able to appreciate the books that authors put out.

Now let's get to what you as the reader of the blog should expect from me. Lets get one thing clear from the get-go. My grammar is not the best. Yes I took English all four years in high school and I'm taking it in college now. Me and grammar are like math and some people. I'm probably making it sound worse than it actually is, but I'm just warning you now that I will have the occasional comma splice, use words incorrectly, and use "words" that are frowned upon like ain't. So you've been warned. Also, I live in the South so I may use phrases that are common here but not other parts of the country.

Honestly, I follow a good number of book bloggers but I don't read a lot of posts, so bear with me while I figure out how I want my posts to be set up. Remember that all review won't have the same content because each book is different and I might not pick up on all of the same points.

Besides book reviews, I will also try to post monthly wrap-ups and the occasional book haul. The could also be a few posts about music both old and new.
